A federal court allowed the “defund” provision targeting Planned Parenthood health centers to take effect. What does this mean? Patients cannot use Medicaid to pay for their care at Planned Parenthood health centers.

“[We] will move mountains to be able to see patients who are traveling from Wyoming, South Dakota,” [Mansanares] said. “Those are very long distances. The drives can be treacherous, especially with spring storms coming.”

New Wyoming abortion law forces more patients to travel to neighboring states

Since a new law shuttered the state’s only procedural abortion clinic, its patients were referred to Colorado, Utah and Montana.

If you support abortion access because: ⭐ Health care is a human right ⭐ People should control their own bodies and lives without government interference ⭐ Every major medical organization says it’s critical, lifesaving care Congrats! You also support gender-affirming care!

52 years ago today, Roe v. Wade recognized the constitutional right to abortion nationwide. In the summer of 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe & left abortion access up to the states. But Roe was never enough to ensure that anyone who needed an abortion could get one. (1/6)

Roe was never enough. We demand and deserve better.
