One of my favorite things about having two dogs is one will get spooked and yell about something and the other, with not a sliver of understanding about what's going on, immediately joins in the barking as a show of solidarity.

It was brought to my attention that my @kentuckylantern.com site bio was offensively outdated. I couldn’t edit it to say I love hiking with my dog(s) because let’s face it, Fezzik is the laziest person ever. But the bio now acknowledges that I’m a mom of two. You may now continue with your day.

Day 2 of a seemingly incurable headache and: - a courthouse security guard said to me “you look all worked up, like you’re mad.” Thanks, you too! -a courtroom deputy assumed I was a lawyer there to argue a case. (I think this is complimentary?)
