There's been an update that Idaho has the worst air quality currently in the United States, which makes sense with these fires happening. I live in North Idaho and it is real smokey out. I'm being safe and staying inside. ✌🏼🧡

I drew "Protect Our Produce" in response to the Cyclospora outbreaks. My family and I are safe and have not had the parasite. *knocks on wood* I am personally avoiding lettuce, fresh herbs, raspberries, and more foods in grocery stores that may have a potential link. 1/5

Time to share more of my mini food illustrations! I asked folks for their favorite foods back in January, I was given suggestions, and I practiced creating them with gouache and colored pencil. Some turned out better than others, but each of them had an important part into my learning. 🧡

The Cyclospora outbreak has got me thinking about the U.S. food systems, changes in the last few years of health regulations, and challenging my OCD to not panic as my family and I are safe. It is spreading fast as we speak and read more about it. 1/2
