If you're new to Rayearth & didn't realize a ton of it is named after cars, WELL HERE YA GO! 👇👇👇

Cars in Magic Knight Rayearth, a thread: Zagato Zagato is a design house rather than a manufacturer, so I’ll go with the roughly contemporary 1989 Alfa Romeo SZ as an example. Mamoru in Sailor Moon drives one, too.

Almost every hobby or passtime I've had my entire life - comic books, action figures, trading cards, personal computers, even *the movies* - has been consumed by a bunch of gambling addicts desperate for some new speculative market and we should make gambling illegal because it's their fucking turn

admittedly i have mostly comic based zines but i have a few poetry and visual media only zines too. they're just a harder sell for me because i'm so interested in comics as a medium. but the market is out there!!

it's a much harder sell for me to buy a $40/$50 professional book at a zine fair than 8 $5 books by 8 different artists. like, if im dropping that much cash you are my favourite artist ever 😭🤣 it's just how much money i have to spend at these fairs haha. so i try to keep my zines low $$$ too

okay not to dog pile the quote but these are as a PURCHASER: 1) i don't have a lot of money 2) i don't have a lot of space 3) i fucking love zines 4) i am canadian 5) I MAKE ZINES TOO 👀

Y'ALL WANNA HEAR MY TAKES ON THE PERFECT ZINE TO BUY??? 🤣

tshirt@tshirt.bsky.social · 2d ago

breaks my heart when people respond to zine scams with long threads of "advice" boiling down to 1) don't make zines and 2) if you do, professionalize. genuinely think my advice would be the complete opposite. go smaller, go shittier, go more diy, and all of that will keep it manageable.

well, Anime North just got a mention on Law & Order Toronto Criminal Intent, so there's that
