A thought exercise for transphobic Democrats: replace the "transgender" with "Jewish" in the ads and notice how uncomfortable you suddenly get. There is slightly more trans people in the U.S. (0.95%) than German Jews (0.75%) before the Holocaust. Can't you see how dangerous your slippery slope is?

Proship literally is NOT short for 'problematic ship.' It's the prefix 'pro' as in 'for' and the word 'ship.' 'For shipping,' aka supporting all ships' right to exist in fiction without harassing real people over fictional content. I won't say there aren't bad eggs in the proship community-

terrible ethics aside, the original study was poorly designed and mind-blowingly biased. there's more than one reason it's been discredited. this show will say nothing meaningful about "the inherent cruelty of human nature" because the stanford prison experiment said nothing meaningful either.

my older sister has turner syndrome, which means she needs supplemental estrogen because her body doesn't produce enough of it naturally. my parents happily supplied her with life-saving HRT. strangely, when my twin came out as trans, they were not so happy about the thought of giving them HRT.

I hate the whole framing of the "putting trans kids on hormones" debate CIS KIDS ARE ON HORMONES TOO. They just came free with their puberty. It's the same hormones, as well. And if the kid is intersex in a way that means their body doesn't make sex hormones, guess what we do? PUT THEM ON HORMONES
