Today visited the company I'll be doing my internship, and to my horror, there were an astonishing amount of AI "art" everywhere in the building... Sigh.
"Really nice work! Too bad it's too expensive. :/" normalize saying "Sorry, I can't afford this at the moment!" or similar rather than inferring directly to an artist's face that their art isn't worth the price lol.

I am 100% serious when I say that having an optimistic outlook of the future is an effort to maintain when we're bombarded with bad news, horrific actions & constant harm. You have to show up and do the mental work. You have to hope when it looks hopeless. You have to believe people are worth it.
