You can also get the Tamil Pulp collections which are really good. It's a lot of fun to compare and contrast with American pulp lit. The similarities are there but sometimes there are some "what on earth?!" type tales.

Currently reading Kuzhali Manickavel’s book *deep breath* A Compendium of Supernatural Entities Found in the Government Girls Higher Secondary School. It’s funny, creepy, utterly bizarre, really enjoying it.
Like I appreciate the publisher trying to add buzzwords like “dark academia” but lmao no, this book is completely its own thing, full of the long ennui of teenage afternoons, the terror of the future, and half-seen things at the edges of view
I just finished this last night—if you like slow, creeping supernatural stories and some of the most pitch-perfect teenage girls ever written, definitely pick this up. The ending’s PERFECT, too—left me absolutely breathless with how right it was. The publisher’s summary below does it no justice
