i know it's bad and probably not the usual way of learning, but honestly, i learned a lot about creative writing from black hat article writing, keyword stuffing, writing fake content for websites and writing run-of-the-mill spam.

once this white person wrote this story about india that was riddled with factual inaccuracies et al. and they proudly said they had done zero research. so i said wat the fuck. and they complained that i was telling them they weren't allowed to write about india. i thought that was pretty cool.

some publications can't pay their authors. i understand that. i have published a fair amount of my work for free. what i don't get is the people/publications who made it seem like they were doing me a favor by publishing my work and taking certain rights for nothing.

some writing just isn't for you. this can be difficult to accept, especially if you think that all writing must somehow be for you.
