Here’s to the moment it’s cooled for an hour, no longer too hot to touch.. slicing off the end: crunchy outside tender inside, and spreading it with soft salty butter. iykyk

My name is Glenwood and I’m an organic flower and vegetable farmer. I’m a blue dot living on a beautiful lake near the community of Lagarto in South Texas. Been called: Lynnwood, Webwood, Greenwood, Rosewood, Hollywood n Glenmont. I add new 1s to the list.
This morning the lake surface was as brilliant as the sky. The color reflected even if it wasn’t an exact mirror image. The moody dark clouds along the horizon really contrasted the orange gradient above.
Here are the last of this season zinnias. We’ve been planting them throughout the spring and summer successively. It’s still so hot we’re thinking about planting one more stand at the top of mom’s terraced garden. Something easy. A late seating cutting garden right off the back doorstep.
Sunset from last night. Photos taken looking southeast—away from the western setting sun (where Charquitas Creek feeds into Lake Corpus Christi) The entire sky is colored at a certain point. The second photo with Adirondack chairs, is looking from the pavilion out towards the orig. Nueces River bed.
#ProudBlue Good morning resister friends! We know what is right, we aren’t fooled by the madman. Keep fighting for our country. We have just begun. #StrongerTogether
Some mornings the sunrise can be just grays and white tones. This morning was more color contrasted with brilliant hues.
Looks like it’s time to start dusting off this ol’ guy again.
This photo during the sunset last night but facing east. The colors of the horizon reflecting off the lake mirror the sky since the surface was so still.0
My sunrise view every morning. This is the first of many I’ll be posting.
Does anyone remember this? My good friend and brilliant artist Wayne Hollowell painted this interpretation of Bette Miller eating a shrimp. I love this painting.
This chili is special to me because my mom used to volunteer to cook it for our local fire department’s chili supper. It was “famous” in our small town of 700 for a few years. I was 11 or 12 when I learned her recipe, helping her with those suppers ❤️
Let’s all take a moment to adore this very hard working and valuable creature. Isn’t she gorgeous?! 😊💛🐝
WE NEED BOLD FRESH NEW IDEAS. 4 day work weeks make everybody happier while productivity stays the same or goes up. There’s zero reason not to switch to it.

Prickly pear cactus fruit juice and seeds. This is what remains on the mat and tray after a freeze drying process. Makes a beautiful vibrantly colored pink lemonade. #pricklypear
