Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things.

Imagine being GRRM and waking up every morning and going to bed every night knowing that if you don’t get your ass in fucking gear, Season 8 of Game of Thrones is the only ending your life’s work will ever have. Haunting.

I am a father of two that is very concerned about school shootings and public safety. I am a firmly progressive liberal. I think it’s both unconstitutional and a genuinely bad idea to ban assault weapons.

People are taking “Trump 3rd term” stuff way too seriously. Biden declined quite rapidly from the age Trump is now to the end of his term. I just don’t see it. I wish him good health though, because we need to keep that ratfucker Vance out of the Oval Office at all costs.

I like it when Paul Thomas Anderson is very clear about the content of his films. Q: Can I expect to see any blood in this picture? A: THERE WILL BE BLOOD Q: Does your new film feature any battles? And if so, to what frequency? A: ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER

I was digging Kamala’s book until she said that America isn’t ready for a gay VP on the same ticket as a black-woman President. The box-checking mindset of twenty years ago is precisely why liberals lose so fucking always.

I’ve spent quite a bit of energy being outraged and appalled by this Jimmy Kimmel thing, and I don’t even really like the guy. I agree with many on the right on this much at least, he is not that funny and network TV is dying anyway. But you cannot have the government censoring speech. Full stop.

The sickening thing is that in hindsight, Brendan Carr’s tweets on these subjects aren’t hypocrisy. He was telegraphing his every move. He was among the authoritarian’s dreaming.

Post nicht verfügbar.

Disney+ has been the only subscription I’ve kept since its inception—never canceled, never paused, never played the bullshit game of canceling and re-subbing when I wanted to watch something. I’ve been loyal. But that ends now.

Our energy and focus is steered so much towards defending our tribes that we've lost sight of the common ground we share as Americans. People agree on a lot more than the corporate media on both sides that are profiting off our divisions would have us believe.

Deeper connections happen when vulnerability meets empathy and respect. If someone opens the door to their world and you accept, don’t just look at it through your eyes — try to see it through theirs.
