My sympathetic read of this is that everyone just wants to reach other people and the reason artists get held in such high regard is that they are able to do that in ways most of us can’t. AI offers a chance to steal the magic; of course it’s seductive. But it’s still not the thing
Richard Lawler@rjcc.bsky.social · 6mo agoI disagree with this? They think they would be good at writing, music, art, movies etc if they just had skill and talent because that's what's missing to get their ideas out But what they actually have is bad taste, and bad ideas. And AI can't fix that.
