Brad the skeleton and Andy the Spider are just FULL of holiday spirit this year.
If we put a hat on the @indyhall.org skeleton, we have to put a hat on the spider too. Those are the rules.
Made the poster for January’s Drink and Draw last night. It’s no masterpiece but it did make me laugh so I’ll take it. Philly artists! We gather once a month at @indyhall.org to hang out, connect with our community, and draw really silly prompts. Join us! 12/20: lu.ma/32qnf6ei 1/17: lu.ma/donad22
I used to have coworkers to say this stuff to, now you're the coworkers. Bummer for everyone involved frankly. This is why I need @indyhall.org days every week.
When people ask me "what kind of people join @indyhall.org" they're asking for job titles & demographics, which are the least interesting things about any of our members and almost never how people truly connect. Meanwhile, in our discord rn people are organizing a club to get HAM radio licenses. 🎙️
Tonight at drink and draw in between prompts we, a room full of people who rely on SEPTA, wrote some quick postcards to Josh Shapiro. It’s all-hands-on-deck over here.
What do yoga and coworking with @indyhall.org have in common? They're both good for your mental health, and best enjoyed in community! 😍
Sitting in the Skyroom of the Indy Hall Clubhouse, surrounded by vibrant art from Philly artists, Wally Zielinski opens up about the importance of Indy Hall to him: "It’s more about making connections than it is about just getting work done. I’m happier here because I can say hi to folks."
Movie nights are back at the clubhouse. 🎟️ Tonight's feature: Tucker & Dale vs Evil. More to come, every other Wednesday!
Every Friday in November we’re hosting a “Pay what you wish” coworking day at the clubhouse. Details + RSVP here: lu.ma/pwyw-11
