Making Licia and Ivonne so mom and big sis coded respectively was such a stroke of genius with how many young characters with parents that are absent, dead or that simply suck exist in this game.

I still like the HC that Ivonne in pre-ARR came to Eorzea with the Sanguine Sirens, since we go to Kugane with the Krakens in StB. Also it enables the Ivonne/Rhoswen fling to have some actual lore.
Ysayle and Fordola are the two explicitly transfem NPCs in my canon. For Ysayle it all kinda came from the idea of primal Shiva being influenced by Ysayle´s idealized view of femininity, thus explaining what I´d lovingly call the "sexy ice skater" look. Her being a trans woman would slot into that

Yknow, that part in 7.0 during the train sequence where the source counterpart of the guy from ShB who lost his wife gets lowkey weirded out when we double triple assure him that his wife’s not gonna die? I feel that’s how Lagertha is gonna feel for most of 8.0 when we get really protective of her.

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that Val should join Akina and the Scions for the rite of succession. I think she could have an interesting moment with Bakool Ja Ja during the arc in Mamook, especially once we’re at the Cenote.

I think it´s funny how I looked at Fordola´s and Arenvald´s moms being kinda bad and then made two ocs that kinda act like a mom to them without even intending as such. I´m talking about Licia and Helena here. Both flawed in their own ways, but with a caring side to them.

Thinking Eline might ask a few questions about whether Visna and the others know of the Ysayle-like woman when she´s stuck on the island pre-8.0. Spy instincts, plus "I need to be prepared when I come face to face with a woman that looks exactly like my wife".
I always find it funny when fantasy turns crossbows into basically SMGs, when historically they were quite the opposite.
Now that I am replaying THM/BLM with Akina, I am imagining a similar effect when Beatrice attaches herself to Ivonne in 6.2. Just a little dark wisp flinging itself toward her in the wake of the archfiend´s death. Except that she doesn´t immediately try to possess her unlike this example.
