Uganda has declared the end of Ebola disease outbreak, less than three months after the virus was confirmed. Robust, coordinated response by the government, supported by WHO and partners, was critical in stopping the outbreak.
This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

In her 12 devoted years of service to our org, she brought us to new heights in our health care, education, and advocacy work. She was the embodiment of “Care, no matter what.”
