It is, isn't it? When I took this photo I had a big mug of hot, strong tea and a massive breakfast roll, then we went hunting for gubbins on that beach. Now back home, windswept, tired, and very content.

Talking of DnD, last session my DM (who I am also privileged to call my wife!) rolled out this masterpiece, entirely hand drawn in Copic markers. My character had accidentally spawned some sort of evil shadow doppelganger and we had to chase it though a whole cave network in the dark! #DnD #D&D

I also have this big chonky bit with a tapered section which I guess gives a fairly large area to play on. I might pick off some of the bigger stones so I can layer up with a ruin or a bunker or somesuch.

Should have been at an indie wargames con today - instead I'm trying desperately to work up the spoons to poke vaguely at a miniature. This week has utterly steamrollered me. My fault for working in the industry I do - this particular week was going to be hell for anyone.

A quick and dirty scheme tester for my Naval Raiders. A lot of washes, contrast, texture, and dirty down used in ways you're probably not intended to! Not pushing any major boundaries in terms of scheme but I guess I don't need to be a special snowflake all the time! 😂 #Nerdlings #TrenchCrusade
