At Richmond Council's Special Standing Committee on Heathrow, I heard about how implausible Heathrow's plans for expansion are. The Green Party is the only party that opposes airport expansion unequivocally.
Great observations by @zoegarbett.bsky.social on how the housing development system is not working for Londoners. But apparently the GLA and the Government have "no levers" ...!!

I’m supporting the nationwide day of action calling on the richest to PAY UP. In 2024, UK billionaires added £35 million per day to their wealth. Meanwhile, Brighton & Hove Council has an estimated funding gap of £17.2 million. The money is there - time to tax it fairly.
