November 11 represents the resilience, leadership, hard work, and excellence of those who have served across all five branches of the U.S. military. To our fallen heroes and the soldiers who continue to serve — thank you. We’ll always be grateful. Happy Veteran’s Day! 🇺🇸 #VeteransDay
The Hoos are on the march against the Trump Administration trying to take over their school today and as a UVA Alumni I had to be there with them and let them know their General Assembly and @vasenatedems.bsky.social have their back! @senatorlocke.bsky.social @louiselucas.bsky.social

Virginia families are finally seeing the results of Senate Democrats’ leadership. $1 billion in direct tax relief is now making its way into mailboxes across the Commonwealth. That means $200 for individual filers and $400 for couples filing jointly, helping families cover costs.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is a time to honor the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand with everyone still fighting this battle. We send love and strength to every warrior here in the Commonwealth and beyond. 💗

Local healthcare is collapsing in Shenandoah Valley. Augusta Health is closing three clinics forcing vulnerable patients to travel farther for care. That’s the real cost of the “One Big Beautiful Bill”. Now Virginians are paying to price.

Healthcare is on the line for hundreds of thousands in our Commonwealth. Trump’s failures could leave Virginians uninsured and rural hospitals shuttered. Virginians showed up in 2024. Now it’s time to show up again. 🗳️ Early voting begins Sept. 19.
When the congressional Rs intentionally decided to leave so many of their constituents uninsured because of this recklessness, it fell on the states to clean up Congress’s mess. Tax revenue in Virginia should go to keeping people insured, kids fed and roads fixed, not exemptions for corporate greed.
Virginia might have to pay $234 million a year to preserve enhanced insurance premium tax credits; without them, consumers will see costs rise
Whether you’re grilling out with family, traveling for the weekend, or taking some much-needed rest, we want to thank all of the hardworking people across our Commonwealth. Happy Labor Day Virginia! 🇺🇸
Annunciation Catholic Church should be a place of worship, love & community, never violence. During the first week of school, children should learn in peace, not hide in fear. Our hearts are with the families of the 2 children killed & we pray for healing for all those injured 🕊️
Virginians deserve leadership that puts Virginia first. That starts with lowering healthcare and prescription drug costs. As Governor, I’ll hold large pharmaceutical companies accountable and improve access to quality, affordable care across the Commonwealth.

🗳️ 60 years ago today, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 became the law of the land. This piece of legislation was a hard-won victory for the civil rights movement and democracy. Today, that legacy is under attack by Republicans working to roll back voting access across the country. We won’t go back.

Virginia Republicans in Congress are making it harder for families to feed themselves and their children. They’re requiring seniors to work for food. They’re taking food away from people with disabilities. This isn’t fiscal responsibility. It is just plain ole cruelty.
This isn’t just about UVA. This is about the Republicans and their national strategy to erase DEI, silence students, and push us backwards. 🛑 Not in Virginia. Not on our watch. Senate Democrats protect progress, and we fight for every student.
