"Marvel should remove the multiverse from the MCU, it's too complicated and no one likes it." You fool. You absolute buffoon. Skill issue. I grew up with Where's Waldo (1991). Planescape (1994). Myst (1993). Sliders (1995). All the media I consumed was about the multiverse.

A screencap from the 1991 animated series based on the Where's Waldo picture-hunt books, showing Waldo and his dog Woof jumping through a portal, while his counterpart Odlaw jumps out of a barrel behind them, ready to follow. The conceit of the show was that Waldo would open portals to all the worlds featured in his books via his magic walking stick. An illustration of a bariaur (a centaur, but the lower half is a goat) woman wielding a spoon as a gate key, activating a portal in front of her. The doorway appears to be free-standing outdoors, but a tavern can be seen through the door. The illustration comes from the 5th edition version of 1994's Planescape setting for the Dungeons & Dragons RPG.A table with an open book. The top half of the front page has what looks like a small TV screen, although the view is distorted. This is a linking book from 1997's Riven, the sequel to 1993's Myst, which featured similar linking books. Touching the viewing window takes the reader to the world depicted in it.A screencap from 1995's Sliders, a TV series about a foursome who are stuck hopping between alternate versions of Earth, looking for their home universe. The four are standing off to the left, pointing their portal remote to a wormhole standing in mid-air to the right.

Just had the sort of severe storm that required a loud Amber Alert-style notification sent to everyone's phone. Twice. Once for high winds, the second for a tornado sighting. Power went out for a few hours but we're back on now.

Watching the new Harry Potter series is a clear signal that you'll support JK Rowling no matter how many lives she takes. It shows that holocaust denial and destroying human rights groups isn't a deal-breaker for you. It has never been easier to take the right side of history.

I genuinely am begging people not to watch the new HP show. Like, also don't buy any branded stuff - she makes money off all that. But especially don't watch the damn show.
