Claire and Friend(s) Remember when Natalie Casey (Two Pints etc.) pretended she was Caire? Or did I misremember that?

All things BBC and vinyl. BBC Enterprises’ BBC Records (& Tapes) label, BBC Publications label, BBC Sound Effects Centre, Radioplay, Recorded Programmes Permanent Library, Transcription Services etc.
Yes. Digital Jazzzzzz. Along with the obligatory blank cassettes. One has Julio Iglesias on it, which has left me quite shaken as you can imagine Thanks Andy 🤙
Hello. Been a while. @avavsystems.bsky.social is clearly worried about my long absence as he’s sent a suspiciously cassette shaped care package.
A-ha! There seems to be an error on the credits of BBC Children’s Themes REH 486, 1983 “TAKE HART (The Gallery Theme, "Marguerite") - Bob Morgan and Stepping Out” But the KPM record shows that Stepping Out is a track title.
Today, I finally found KPM's 1981 'The Reggae Album' LP on vinyl out in the wild! Noted for the inclusion of 'Margeurite', the least remembered tune used in one of Tony Hart's TV programme art gallery segments Top composers! Library music? Lib-IRIE music! www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0yJ...

RIP Dave Greenslade, composer of much great music for television, but especially of this, one of the greatest theme tunes of all time (and repeated thanks to @worldoftelly.bsky.social for turning me on to this incredible series in the first place) youtu.be/pikpHdnH-NM

We Wanna Be Famous by Buster Gobsmack And Eats Filth - comedy punk single from 1988 made by the That's Life! team in a bid to expose a producer who was making sub-optimal videos for struggling pop groups. Apparently punks eat their fans and shout 'WOGAN!'. timworthington.org/2023/06/24/l...
I said I would try to add some infographics to my site on how far I am with collecting the BBC Records catalogue. Here's the first bit of that. RE LP catalogue numbers only, and there's an error with the unreleased numbers to fix. Still... www.bbcrecords.co.uk/wp/collectio...
I’m now the owner of this beautiful record in which Helen Violet Bonham Carter, Baroness Asquith of Yarnbury (and Helena’s grandmother) recalls her remarkable life. Top class @bbcrecords.co.uk from 1967 and in mint condition.
It’s what I was hoping for! Anyone got a favourite BBC Records spine?
Is it worrying that I can recognise certain spines from a distance? Sound Effects: Death & Horror immediately leapt out.
How the BBC shelving is going: update 8 The main RE catalogue has bust further out. I’d already taken out the chunk of Digital Stereo Jazz LPs, now the 700+ numbers are out. The 600s are on borrowed time as I still have bunch of other stuff still to go in here.
There’s… umm, a lot going on in this sleeve illustration. Sound Effects No. 18 Holiday Sounds REC 301, 1978.
