cis people: you remember how much puberty sucked? ok, now imagine it’s THE WRONG puberty. that’s what trans kids who aren’t allowed the chance to access the healthcare they need are going through. add on genital inspections, DNA tests, being bullied and screamed at by adults

Not to be a hater at this time but I wish I'd kept screenshots of all those old Bluesky posts about how all Southerners should just be abandoned to fascist wolves. If that was you, libbing it up tonight will be allowed once you fill out your Apology Form. Get your paperwork done

Soooo much fruit on this big ole ginkgo I walked by earlier, I wish I had the patience and smell tolerance to process it for something 🤢

A sea of green ginkgo leaves with branches weighed down by clusters of the powdery orange fruit

Love walking by this building on Pulaski a little south of Hollywood. Thankfully a couple of the original elements from the 1925 version of the building were left in place. I bet it was a beaut

Glazed art deco architectural tile at the base of a one story building. The glaze is green like oxidized copper, cream, black with yellow shell or Sunday shapes peeking out. Nondescript looking building with a couple cute art deco elements that were thankfully left in place at the base to give it some character

I'm very proud of myself for quitting after about 5 years of daily use. Yesterday marked a week. Sobriety sucks a lot of the time but then I see studies like this about cannabis, or alcohol or nicotine and I'm thankful to myself for doing my best.

Cannabis use linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, especially strokes

Research Highlights: New research indicates that cannabis use appears to be linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, especially stroke. The findings are from an analysis of almost half a...

Etsy is betraying artists again. Please buy things from my Etsy store before December when they'll start doing this! After that I don't know if I'll stay with them. It's either move to a new marketplace site or Glaze every single image I post there. And I can't Glaze customer pics! Guess I'll die

Absolutely head over heels for this apartment building on Kimball/Balmoral in North Park. Possibly built in 1929 but I'm having a hard time finding much info, I need to do a deeper dive. The details look to be pigmented cast concrete?!?! Pink and teal!?!? I was touchin on it like a creeper

Courtyard on the Balmoral side, 3405-07. Yellow brick with so many great details I'm gonna have a hard time describing them all. There are two green concrete adornments on top of the entryway pillars. Pink baroque style floral patterns accent the decision between the first and second floors. Two gorgeous flower/square windows flank the entryway which is also accented by white and black concrete. 5354-58 n kimball side. Same type of brick work and they definitely did not skimp on the flourishes. There's another one of those small square windows with half circle "petals" on each side. Entryway on the kimball side with a sturdy wooden door with a lovely patina. Corkscrew white/grey/black columns on both sides with more of the green and pink kinda sorta baroque floral patterns.

The SCTV doc on Netflix is amazing, it's making me so happy. Fuck Lorne Michaels, can't recall that I've ever heard a positive anecdote about that guy My decades long crush on Rick Moranis is always affirmed though

Im sorta casually dating someone who is very spur of the moment and not a planner and it's making me realize how much that shit fries my nervous system. I'm 42 and boring I need my little routines 😭
