'It is difficult to get Alpha News to understand something, when the dark money salaries of their 2 employees depends on them not understanding it.' Its not allowed, its graffiti- this is how graffiti works. [Also, we got blocked by Liz]

Years ago, I used to see the "Kia boys" driving wildly around Frogtown -- terrifying if you have a little kid -- but it's been a looong time since then. Ramsey County and St. Paul are doing something right. Eric scratches the surface here. www.startribune.com/minneapolis-...

Roper: The answer to Minneapolis’ smashed windows is in St. Paul

St. Paul doesn’t see many reports of car window smashings and has gotten a handle on related crimes that persist in Minneapolis.

The proposed new Mendota Heights city hall costs at $33M. With 4,800 households, that works out to roughly $7k per household in total project cost. State will give them $4M and won't even demand a merger with Mendota and Lilydale, which they need to do first.

The hills that are arden in Arden Hills are the mounds with in view in Mounds View. Together they were one township until stupid St Anthony broke state municipal corporation laws and unleashed short-sighted municipal fragmentation. Make them all 1 city

Just like, are the needs of Arden Hills, pop 9.9k, really so different from Mounds View, pop 13k, when they already share a school district? Should they have different zoning codes for decorative requirements for light industrial loading docks? Maintained by two boards and councils?

What baffles me is why the Dems didn't immediately counter with, "OK, we're gonna look into all the fraud and while the FOF case is working it's way through the courts, we're gonna go hard on corporate tax evasion, LGA fraud, municiple fraud in towns and cities that have refused to submit 1/2

Minnesota State Fair Attendance Totals for 2026 are in. 9% short of the 2019 record year, on pace with the last 2. Don't think there was a weather day that suppressed the crowds? The busiest day of 2026 is 20% less than the 270k people that went on the 2nd Saturday of 2018.

"First proposed in the early 2020s, the $120 million to $150 million H Line would follow Como, Maryland and White Bear avenues on the St. Paul portion, replacing the Route 3 bus..." "Resident Stephanie Miller said many neighbors only learned about the H Line in November." Seems like a skill issue

Real NIMBY shit here. Warrendale folks want the new rapid line moved to Front, because LOL no one cares about safety or property value on Front, right? For folks outside the area, the properties along Como are rich and white. The properties along Front are not. www.startribune.com/not-on-my-st...
