Every now and then i have a couple of months where i feel like blowing my brains out in the dairy isle of tesco. To focus my mind on something else i have been trying to properly learn digital sculpting after years of sort of not quite getting it. Here's the results (of the sculpting,not the brains)
New page illuminations for planet 28 - These are always fun to do.
I've taken two days off work to get KS stuff done, but I've spent most of my time taking fresh prawns into the garden for my cat to avoid him getting dehydrated and needing another £700 vet visit.
Why do I get so many emails? only 1 in every 50 is actually for me, the rest are just directionless advertising or digital tumbleweed. what is all this shit? why is it so vital that it keeps being sent to me? can't we all just agree that it's bollocks and just stop sending this crap to each other?

Friend at work went for his "consultation" meeting and was told "You're being made redundant, there may be jobs you can apply for, but everyone else will be going for them, also it's bank staff" and fuck me if that hasn't soured the mood in the break room. looking forward to my turn this week.
Meeting with my union rep this afternoon to prepare for the first of the official "dude where's my job" meetings next week. There is a SMALL chance I can swing this whole thing to get the exact hours I petitioned for two years ago, but I'll hold out for just not being made redundant.

Good news! planet 28 finished onover £29k! the biggest mammoth minis KS to date and WAY more than I had ever hoped. Bad news! the university I work for is making technician redundancies and I'm staring down the barrel of a 20% paycut! Medium news! I found a pack of polo's in my bag.

Relistening to the foundation audiobooks and man I wish there was a proper foundation tabletop game, I wish I was in charge of writing it, and I also wish the series got as much credit as dune for influencing 40k because there is WAY MORE of it than there is dune.

Post post salute - It took a few days for the con cough to get me but here I am at work with a sore throat and sinuses more stuffed than a mules backside. If I was smart I would have booked a few days off post salute but instead I went straight back into the classroom. Woe, woe the miniaturist fool.

This years super tiny skirmish demo board! This was a fun and quick build over a couple of days (with a concussion break in the middle) and my brother in law ran a good few games throughout the day, with the cult of the red death defending their stronghold of dankskull mountain. #salute53
