Third consecutive year of running the SAX 4 miler. Finished in 38:39, which is 7 seconds slower than last year but still fast for me (my first mile was at a 9:09 pace). But not compared to these two speed demons. The hills in this race are brutal, but we finished!

I hate being lectured online, so I don’t intend this to be a lecture, but a reflection. Thinking out loud if you will. Sometime in the next year, I will have a new book out. It will be my 7th book published in 20 years. (I know when I just can’t tell you yet. What’s an author without a vague post)

When someone writes a thriller that should move at a breakneck pace, they should write it to move that fast. I remember, whatever you think of the Reacher novels, I could read those in 2 days because they were designed to move.
