Tapas shutting down was really not on my list of things I wanted to read. This morning has been wild, and very distracting. Guess it's hightime to finish my website and launch it...

I love my girls and thought it would be nice to share a bit about their flags. 🏳️‍🌈 Maya bisexual. She likes both men 👨and women👩, but knows what she prefers 😘 Since she was born in Appeldorn, the Netherlands, and her mom is bi too, she never felt that out of place for her preferences. 💖🌈 #bisexuals

Chapter 15 | Revenge: Like a woman in a trance, Hjordis rides to the dodgy town of Graywell to grant Mads his final rest — by giving the Changeling exactly what they crave. She does everything right. It still goes wrong. #indieautor #webnovel #Beardaughter tapas.io/series/Beard...

“You’re trouble, aren’t you?” Fey laughed, daintily cupping Ragna’s chin up and back to Fey. A manicured nail traced the softness of the jaw briefly before Fey let go to shift her weight on her crutch. A hip was cocked, and lips lapped with unbashing boldness. “I love trouble.” #wlw #sapphic

New episode of Beardaughter is up! Chapter 12 | The Galliard Ever wonder what it would be like if your legs did their own thing while you still regained control of the upper body.? Excerpt found in the ALT text #amWriting #Indieauthor #Beardaughter #queerSFF #darkfantasy tapas.io/series/Beard...

A long pause. Then Mads’s legs swung over the side of the bed.
“Fye, what are you doing.” Said Tryggve.
The legs stood up.
“I said what are you — sit down —” He grabbed the bedpost with both hands. His legs pulled. His arms held. His legs pulled harder, Mads’s body straining against itself, boots scraping the floor for purchase. His left knee buckled. His arms hauled back. His right leg straightened, dragging them six inches toward the door.
“We are not,” he said through Mads’s clenched teeth, “doing this!”
His legs disagreed. Another four inches. His hands squeaked down the bedpost.
“Fine.” He let go.
His legs took three rapid strides for the door and his arms windmilled, grabbed the door frame, held. His lower half pulled. His upper half held.
And there he was, standing in the doorway at a diagonal that was not anatomically correct, one hand on each side of the frame, legs churning like a man walking in place against a strong wind.
“Some dignity,” he gasped. “Please.”
His right foot kicked the doorframe. His left hand punched the wall.
He walked himself backwards to the bed by main force, made it to the edge, sat down hard. His legs immediately tried to stand again. He grabbed his own kneecaps and shoved them flat.
“No! Enough.” He pressed them down. “Enough, enough, enough.” His legs went still. Resentfully. He sat there breathing for a moment, then straightened up.
“Right,” he said, “Let’s settle this properly.”
He grabbed the bedpost with both hands, squared Mads’s shoulders, and drove the borrowed head into the wood.
The crack was very satisfying. Stars. Ringing. The room tipped left, then right, then stayed. Stars. Fine stars, very nice, excellent stars.
---
The part of him that spoke of self-preservation gone at last. Boring chap that one.

Lyre & Hen from 'The Velvet Water' ~ my ongoing, slow-burn, BL romantasy 💜✨ tapas.io/series/The-V... #booksky #artsky #myocs #originalcharacters #digitalart #pinup #art

A woman with a round face in a dark teal fantasy dress is dipping her toe into a lake. In the lake, a second woman with long dark hair is leaning against a rock and watching her. Both women are drawn to accentuate their sensuality (with bare feet and buttons undone) and suggesting a romantic tone.
