The Moore-Miller Administration is determined to leave no one behind. Yesterday, Maryland Department of Transportation Secretary Katie Thomson and Motor Vehicle Administration Administrator Chrissy Nizer delivered hundreds of donated hygiene kits to the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maryland.
The Moore-Miller administration continues to emphasize how serious about safety we are by celebrating safety improvements implemented at US 1 intersections in the Elkridge and North Laurel areas of Howard County.
Today is car free day which also marks 65 years since the Interstate Commerce Commission outlawed racial segregation on public buses. The ruling was heavily driven by Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. Even after his death, RFK brought the nation together through transportation.
