Being autistic isn’t always the most fun thing in the world, but I keep getting these bursts of relief and joy when the label helps me understand something about myself that I always thought was weak or pathetic or selfish. I am, in fact, not the worst person in the world.
Movies and tv shows and music are more immediately emotionally affecting to me, but books tend to hit in a deeper way. I cried getting to the end of Gravity’s Rainbow the first time, and it’s not a “the dog died” ending—I was just totally overcome by it.

King’s town-destroying novels often have a streak of dark humor in them, but I think Under the Dome is the most bleakly funny of them (only Needful Things comes close). The opening hundred pages or so reads almost like a Final Destination movie.
happy "oh thank god i don't have to worry about a Rick and Morty review" day to all who celebrate. (season 9 was great, and i like getting paid, but boy did it start my week on a stressful note.)
My brain still feels fried—I keep getting excited about reading new books, but then not being able to concentrate. So, more King rereads: up next, Under the Done.

I am part of several discord channels, but I’ve yet to really feel involved with any of them. Starting to view that particular Patreon award as a threat.
The only Tom Holland Spider-man I’ve seen is the first one, and I found it bland and uninspired, a well made “product” made by people with nothing worth saying. It made me feel old; here was something clearly designed for children, and I was supposed to care about it as an adult.
This might sound elitist, but I don’t think the people liking the Peanuts slop posts should have rights

I could probably chill with Bill Hader. Andy Samberg would be affable, but he’s too normal at heart for me to be comfortable around. I legit don’t know with Will Forte. He has this incredible intensity, and I’d either roll with it or be terrified. decent edible, btw.
