I remember how as a little kid in early 90s I made this observation. Tremors took sandworms from Dune and based an entire movie on it. Pretty straightforward, right? But also... Wedlock took the exploding collars idea from The Running Man and turned it into a movie. I was very proud of that. 🤣

Movies like Jaws, Tremors and Candyman have one of my favorite things about horror movies and that is daylight horror I love it when weird abrupt scary shit happens in the middle of broad daylight on a bright sunny day.
