I loved this film when I saw it during its first-run release! The two musical numbers with David Bowie singing the title track “Absolute Beginners” and “That’s Inspiration” are among my favorite songs by Bowie! Your post makes me hopeful the film has been restored and, hopefully, re-released!!!

📣 Calling film exhibitors - Booking for Cinema Rediscovered on Tour is open! Following its 9th edition, in Bristol, UNESCO City of Film, Cinema Rediscovered (Wed 23 July - Sun 27 July) launches a UK & Ireland tour of highlights celebrating the return of the big screen experience from August 2025.
