The wife and I aren’t sure why, & our best guess is that she’s nesting… But the same peahen showed up yesterday morning, hopped up into a spot behind our bushes, settled in…and has been there since. We largely leave her alone except for keeping fruits/peahen seed near her, but. Oh my god?

Made it home! So happy to land in NYC. On the one hand, I met so many wonderful people , learned so much, had so many lovely experiences. On the other? Non zero chance of death one flight, most flights had horrible experiences, running on one meal a day at best and naps mostly. I’m beat.
