Make fun art, friends. I bought some 70/80’s Japanese cross stitch books and have been enjoying both the technique and the patterns- more color & whimsy. I thought she would also benefit from the lace treatment & added faux flowers for a little extra je ne sais quoi (not that we were lacking).

While texting a co-working today, my phone kept autocorrecting the words “any idea” to “Anthony” and as I wondered aloud why this could be because I don’t know any Anthony’s, I realized it’s probably because I text @nfluger.bsky.social about Anthony Edwards an awful lot 😅

A deep cut, but Superdrag is finally getting its moment in lace- this song is the perfectly imperfect 90’s garage rock that makes my heart skip a beat and makes us crank it up and scream along every time it comes on my playlist because it captures a certain feeling. IYKYK as well I guess?

I wanted something that was Timberwolves without screaming TIMBERWOLVES, so this is more of a, IYKYK, but it might also be the best thing I’ve ever made (the lace really puts it over the top).

As I was coming down the stairs, our injured dog tried to run up the stairs and as I tried to stop him I accidentally threw my phone AT HIM and it was not great, guys. He’s okay, but it scared us both and he is ignoring me now which makes sense but also hurts my feelings 😭 (I would ignore me too)

Took my daughter to the eye doc today and once he fitted her with the correct lenses she looked at me and said “ooh, I can see your gray hair so clearly now!” So… that’s how my day is going 😅 (I actually love my gray hair but there is something about being trolled by a preteen that really hits).

Reporters and broadcasts love to bring up athletes familial traumas but I really love how deeply grounded KAT is to his late mother. Every time he talks about her or is asked about her is always a special statement. Loved that post game presser.
