He could hide behind the fact that he was working to move their project forward in a different way, but the truth was that he missed his previous life. He missed their lab. He missed Viktor. Maybe this storm didn’t happen at the most unwelcome time, at least it gave him a chance to rectify that. He put a hand on his companion's shoulder and answered with a sad little smile: ""If there's one person I don't mind spending a night stuck in here with, it's you, Vik. And if you'd rather we just keep each other company, that's fine with me too. Anything you want."""
