it's time for them to do "the amazing chan and the chan clan" for columbo. make him a cartoon and give him a dozen nieces and nephews who are in a rock band. he already has a dog mascot. make one half of the episode a melodrama w a real estate guy methodically inventing an alibi to dress as a mummy

This completely unhinged WB promo for Deep Space Nine – an ill conceived attempt to make the most cerebral of Star Trek shows look “cool” – has got a screaming rock dude wailing over a shot of Captain Sisko watching his wife blow up:

i do not like seeing the business jargon phrase "key takeaways" at the top of a cookie recipe. i did not need a computer to summarize the recipe at the top of the recipe. i am not having a meeting about the recipe. that space is reserved for a long meandering story about a dead grandma

dreamed i was watching the superbowl and mr. peanut died (again) and at halftime they had a marching band playing firestarter by the prodigy and they all got into formation to do a big mr. peanut tipping his hat as a tribute and they kept cutting to people sincerely crying on the sidelines

i dislike online discourse but i feel i must make a stand. i'm sick of people reigniting the same old arguments of "which nutty professor would win in a fight". The movies are about intellect, not brawn. furthermore, eddie murphy's buddy love mode is significantly more powerful than jerry lewis'.

found out they were making a young hercule poirot prequel show and i was about to joke that it would be funny if they gave him a tragic backstory for having a mustache and then remembered that the modern poirot movies ALREADY had a tragic mustache backstory (it covers battle scars from the war)

Found this awesome commercial for a second American release of the Sanrio anime musical anthology film Metamorphoses (Hoshi no Orpheus) on an episode of Family Feud from around late 1979 or early 1980. During this go-round, the film was heavily edited and re-titled "Winds of Change"!!

As everyone knows, the first feature length film from Marvel to be released in American theaters was 1986's "My Little Pony: The Movie", and I feel like since then, we've really gotten away from the true spirit of what a "Marvel movie" is because there are barely any talking ponies at all

folks, between the upcoming "a different world" sequel show, the "martin" spinoff, and the baywatch show about baywatch's son, the upcoming tv season is really reactivating long dormant branches of my tv character crossover charts
