And last (but never, ever least) TRIPLE MAJOR 😮 (Art History, Classical Studies, and Religious Studies) SB Barnes presents "Escaping the Heteronormative: Utilizing the Gaze to Understand the Representation of Sexuality, Gender, and Bodies in Italian Baroque Artworks Depicting Religious Ecstasy."

Next up, Olivia Peterson presents "Piety, Politics, & Reverence: Peter Paul Rubens’s Joan of Arc (1620) and Portrait of Marie de Medici (1573-1642) as a Triumphant Queen (1625)". Peterson argues for engaging "Rubenesque" as an iconography (rather than a style) of power and political potency.

After a break, we're back with Ash Crouse (Art History and Classical Studies), presenting "Dirce, the Social Transgressor."

Our next presenter, Kelsey Golden, examines "The Art of Katherina Parr's and the Employment of Portraiture in the Tudor Court." Golden argues that Parr guided her step-daughter, and the future Queen Elizabeth, in using portraiture as a political tool.

Next up, Téa Jones presents "Your Body is a Battleground: An Exploration of Visual Activism in Response to Reproductive Violence & Femicide."
