The project will permanently damage one of our nation’s greatest natural treasures.
Data centers (and detention camps!) — big box buildings on the edge of life —are THE ISSUE because they tangibly encapsulate every other issue—environment, corruption, accountability, social (media) fracturing, and a politics of impunity that drops disaster on locals, then claims to know 🚫 about it

So far, the organizers mention data centers first at every single event. From racial justice orgs to old school activists who don’t usually think about tech policy. This has legs.

I reviewed those by myself, one by one—no AI involved!—and the filings pointed to police reports. I then sought those out separately and spent days combing through them.
So why isn't Fox news televising interviews of all the happy people who live near data centers so we can hear what a treat it is to live with the constant noise, lights, increased utility costs and non-existent new jobs?
