i hate how much people care about their ships being "canon" now. spirk fans didn't publish zines full of fanfics in the 70s only for modern fandom to grovel at the knees of corporations and beg for things to be canon. use your imaginations, don't allow billionaires to think for you.

Higher and Higher Testing some things out in my sketchbook. Based on the trees along northern California pasture and the striking memory of egrets in a empty blue sky. Also that very last shot in Cowboy Bebop, goddamn.

From bottom to top: a field, a line of trees silhouetted against distant hills, then the blue sky which dominates the composition: white at the horizon and gradually becoming dark indigo at the zenith, and in the center a large, white dragon-like creature with wings like an albatross flies into the distance.

Zenos punched Claude so hard it split his cheek open and damaged his eyes such that he now has to wear glasses. Still, in way he's glad the scar will persist.

Someone's post got me curious so, #wolqotd : What is your WoL/OC's face lore? That scar, or that bruise, or that tattoo. The pair of odd eyes, or those unique pupils. That missing tooth, that missing eye or even just specific makeup. Anything you would consider "face lore". Give me the goods! 📝

Like, y'all, I cannot emphasize enough how often I'll think about Zenos getting to live a full life, growing old with my WoL, Claude, and it makes me dizzy. I just want a modicum of grace and kindness for this man.

And day to day, life's a hard job, you get tired, you lose the pattern. You need distance, interval. The way to see how beautiful the earth is, is to see it as the moon. The way to see how beautiful life is, is from the vantage point of death.
