Wow! @menendez.house.gov says that the EXACT scenario I flagged two months ago, where ICE "releases" someone having a medical emergency solely so their death won't be recorded as occurring while in custody, happened last month at the infamous Delaney Hall detention center in Newark, NJ.

Pux Taphouse says they believed this was a “Women’s Dem” event, but realized later it was for Haley Stevens U.S. Senate campaign. Pux Taphouse used the event to clarify online that it does NOT endorse Stevens because she is Anti-LGBTQAIP2s+ and supports Israel. Attached screenshot: When Pux was approached to book this event, we were only it would be a private women's Dem event. Pux was never advised that Haley Stevens would be connected with this event. We are heartbroken as we pride ourselves on being not only a queer friendly space but also have advocated and continue to call for a free Palestine. We DO NOT endorse Haley Stevens. The Morris worm, the first big internet virus, was not intended to be destructive but spread out of control. The creator was convicted of a felony. It's clear that creators/operators of a hacking program are responsible for it; the only difference is the way we let the rich control the narrative.

This is NOT about preservation. They are only doing this to harvest pre 2020's books to use for more training data. They have chosen this method that DESTROYS the book on purpose, because it is faster and cheaper. They know time is limited before society and the bubble catches up with them.

The framing on this is bugging me. Neurological disorder or social construct is a false dichotomy. Our brains are wired differently but calling it a neurological disorder is the social construct. If you need our brains to behave differently, then sure, it’s a “disorder” and medicine is helpful.
