NEW: Police in Wisconsin used Flock to determine that a man “travels to Michigan frequently,” where marijuana is legal, then back to Wisconsin, where it is illegal. They then used his travel across state lines as tracked by Flock as part of the probable cause justification to search his car.

Cops Used Flock to Track a Man Across State Lines to Create Pretext to Search His Car for Weed

"The vehicle travels to Michigan frequently which is a known source state for marijuana as it is legal there," a probable cause justification reads.

It didn’t matter because he singled on the next pitch, but strike one to Lara was out of the zone by an inch at least. The Brewers failures with ABS are so bad. They have no feel for any part of it.

Looked up the Bryan Reynolds career splits against the Brewers. Some crazy numbers in here, and then one *really wild* one. .320/.410/.533 in 432 plate appearances over 107 games. So, killer production over a lot of games. But check this out: .411 BAbip lifetime against the Brewers. Wow!

Data centers have become one of the U.S.'s most potent political flashpoints, uniting coalitions on the left and right like few issues do. We sent @mollytaft.com on a journey into the data center resistance. The Unabomber, Steve Bannon’s tech guy, and Bernie Sanders made appearances along the way:

How Data Centers Broke American Politics

What the Unabomber, Steve Bannon’s tech guy, and Bernie Sanders taught me about the great data center backlash of 2026.

There was a fire in the sixties, so the decor is a mixture of Prohibition and mid-century. Inside it's always dark. There's a nice fish tank. The music isn't much past 1960. And there is no menu. You tell them what you like, or your mood, and they will surprise you. They are never wrong.

If you've been in the service you know that abroad a restaurant is often the front room of someone's house. The grandmother cooks; you're a guest of the family. Three Brothers in Milwaukee feels like that. The building is a beautiful old Schlitz tied house that the family has tended since the 50s.

The last time I was there, we'd just finished an indulgent group dinner at the Serbian masterpiece Three Brothers in Bay View. My friend was entertaining guests from out of town, special occasion. I had a Little Giuseppe. Others ordered by mood. Conversation flowed, memories were made.

Do not boo the lefty brought in to get out a lefty and kill a rally who cannot find the plate and accidentally hits the batter on a 3-0 count. We want to encourage this behavior, not squelch it.

I do not think the Brewers are going to win the World Series because I never think the Brewers are going to win the World Series. I can’t even fathom them making it there; I’ve seen too much as a fan to sincerely believe 100%. But … imagine the redass people would get if they did it this year.

Bill Oakley had a post once I think about often. It went something like, “Seems hard to believe now but for 60 years you could turn on a TV and a show would be playing. It’d just be there, in progress, instantly.”

It’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better

It might even be true, that’s not the point I’m making, the point is _anyone who says this sounds like an asshole_, and you shouldn’t avoid the label. lean in! be the villains!

When a fan of a rich team tells a fan of a poor team “your owners could spend more if they want to”, it has the tone and tenor of a rich kid in high school telling classmates “your parents could buy you cooler clothes if they wanted to”.

it’s genuinely gonna be funny to watch another year of Dodgers fans pulling out their little wooden swords and “other owners could do it if they wanted to!” lines. baseball gonna baseball, but watching historically comfortable fans try to get their underdog or indignation on? sublime shit.
