I say this as someone who for years got into ridiculous fights on the internet, sought out pointless conflict, and got into trouble for it: mass harassment only makes the target's behavior and health worse. It achieves literally nothing else.

Irregular created a sandbox that wasn't really a sandbox because it had a live internet connection, and gave instructions that were then carried out online.
People all seem convinced this is clearly intentionally such a dogwhistle. Anything's possible, I guess, but, I don't know. This isn't far from schizoposting. Why would they use a K-pop star in a Korean ad for Koreans to do that? You're saying it's wrong to carry shoes in your hand?

Stephen King has a short story, "Survivor Type". In it, a surgeon shipwrecked in a tiny atoll gradually cannibalizes his own body. This is the kind of government, "center left" or right, that most of the world has been getting for the last half century. Cannibalizing the public good to feed capital.

Honestly I think we should stop putting genre in the hands of indie dramady filmmakers. I'm sure there's people who can do both, but in the whole if your first impulse is "movie about growing up in the suburbs" or "feeling lost in your 20s" you might not have the right brain for SF or Horror.

Honestly we have very few game consoles that are much lovely as objects. That, nostalgia or status notwithstanding, you'd have on a shelf as much for aesthetics as practical use. There's beautiful TVs, beautiful HiFi, even the rare beautiful computer, but scarcely a beautiful game console.
