Obviously, it's a logic-puzzle game, it won't be for everyone. But if you like that sort of thing, you'll enjoy this, and suddenly realize you've gone from basic logic-gate puzzles to having designed and built an 8-bit CPU.

Watching The Prisoner because they put it on Critereon and this shit rocks dude.

Once in a while I remember renting "Lesbian Vampire Killers" and that it's in the running for worst movie I've ever seen. I'd describe it as "trying to make shaun of the dead but with the refined comic sensibilities of a 14 year old" but I was a teen and still found it painfully unfunny.

The cast of BWP don't get enough credit for how completely convincing they are. Almost all epistolary films fall into the habit of just being regular movies, with camera choices, acting style, action, pacing, special effects... BWP utterly commits to its premise. Nothing breaks the spell.

The Ken Jennings thing is a clear case of 2018 style disproportionate histrionic freaking out over a trivial or imagined transgression. I think it's what happens when you have a lot of (justifiably) stressed, angry people with no more productive outlet - and who are too online to have perspective.

Occasionally I peruse the reddits for PC and Networking stuff and it's amazing how many guys will just post one picture of their PC or Router with zero context and go "My computer dong work right. why is it sad?"

Honestly, I'd be cool if people treated black and white comics like coloring books. Like obviously you have the original but just let anyone who wants to colorize it and see what happens. I'd be interesting even just in how different people's color choices would reflect different perspectives

What's astonishing about these is how inept and unsophisticated the production is. They're trying to split the difference between NPR serious adult tone and zoomer video media. So you get this really smug, condescending, stuffy affectations with unmotivated snap-zooms and a *swoosh* sounds.
