Compare that to this convention where instantly an entire team was here to ensure I was okay, police were involved, the chairman came to check in. Genuinely it is night and day. I cannot thank furpocs team enough. If only other cons handled things as seriously as them
There are some Northern UK conventions that could learn a thing or two about how to handle security and assault related issues. Comparing a current convention which allows someone who verbally sexually assaulted me on con grounds in public to be a high profile member of staff, is disgusting.

@furpocalypse.org Just an FYI I had to put down 100 usd a night for incidentals (totaling 500 usd) for a king room for 2 people. Your website says its 50 usd per night. It might be good to notify attendees incase people get caught out needing to put down more than they had initially planned?
