We are delighted to announce the 2025 Cheshire Novel Prize Shortlist! The standard was so high this year but many congratulations to our shortlisted writers and also to our super talented long-listed writers too. The winner will be announced on the 3rd November 2025 at 2pm!

And just like that another year has flown by and I’m somehow celebrating 2 years since I launched my editorial consultancy. It’s been a brilliant and busy year so a big thank you to the publishers and talented writers I’ve had the pleasure of working with! 🎉📚

The best part of my job is connecting with writers and helping them to overcome obstacles when working on a draft so this makes me very happy to hear! Remember, sometimes taking a break from a manuscript can also help you to come back with fresh eyes and renewed motivation. #amwriting #writingtips
