As much as I appreciate a no-AI option, as long as they’re still peddling AI bullshit I consider them complicit in the destruction of the internet and hardware industry.

I randomly thought about the fact that in the French version of Breath of Fire for GBA, translated from the English translation rather than the Japanese game, antidotes are called "fourmi", the French word for ant.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Credits for Brent Porter (3D art lead) and Catherine Menabde (2D art lead) are shown here. There's a lengthy description of what they did, with a pastiche of various Demonschool characters underneath, messing around with a computer.

BY THE WAY If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2. There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security. Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation." TURN IT OFF.

Germany's position has been reverted to UNDECIDED. Despite expressing concerns about breaking end-to-end encryption, Germany refrained from taking a definitive stance on the Chat Control proposal during the September 12th LEWP meeting. A willingness to negotiate and compromise remains.

Countries opposing include the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, and Estonia. Undecided countries are Germany, Slovenia, Romania, and Greece. All remaining member states supports Chat Control.

It's a very minor complaint and I know it's absolutely nothing compared to a lot of the bad things happening right now but as someone working in Japan and earning a Japanese salary, US-developed tools are EXPENSIVE.
