We left the car in Castaic and rented a U-Haul to take us the rest of the way. Got to our hotel around midnight, and finally going to eat dinner from Taco Bell. But we have to get it delivered because the U-Haul can’t fit through the drive thru and the inside is closed.

We’re headed to a wedding in So Cal, but the car overheated on I5-S on the grapevine and wouldn’t cool down. Got a tow down the mountain and eventually got a mechanic to look at it. Radiator’s got a big crack in it, and the juices have all spewed out!
The only option the agent gave us was to take the much larger moving truck that was blocking in the sensible sized van. Not to like let us move the thing 5 feet and return the keys for the small one, so big truck it is.
