Someone explain why I get misgendered and my wife gets gendered correctly in the San Francisco area, but in Las Vegas I get gendered correctly and she gets misgendered. I’ve gotten correctly gendered 100% of the time here, which is unheard of at home. But I wanna punch anyone who calls my wife “sir”

After a nearly-all-nighter preparing and packing, we’ve finally landed in Las Vegas for STLV! Hope to see y’all there!

Had weird bad dream last night in which I was trying to recommend Cowboy Bebop to a friend, but the internet refused to pull anything up - only weird AI generated stuff sort of adjacent to it. Like “cowboy show anime”, “yoko kanno 24hr remix”, a knockoff of a knockoff, etc.

Immediate impressions of the new episode of Star Trek SNW is… “Nah not for me thanks but no thanks.” The sci-if horror spooky stuff was whatever, but some of the specific gore was just a bit too much for me. 🙃 Plenty of other episodes out there though!

I’m in the same boat here with @tracey.science. I’ve had this cold for a few more days compared to him, and I’m feeling somewhat better but I’m still super wiped out. Been sick for over a week now and I’m so done with it.

Very happy that as of yesterday the building construction project where our Space Shuttle restoration project, OV-001, will be displayed, has officially started! It starts not with a bang, but with a claiming of street parking where the construction firm’s temporary trailer offices will go.
