Had weird bad dream last night in which I was trying to recommend Cowboy Bebop to a friend, but the internet refused to pull anything up - only weird AI generated stuff sort of adjacent to it. Like “cowboy show anime”, “yoko kanno 24hr remix”, a knockoff of a knockoff, etc.
Immediate impressions of the new episode of Star Trek SNW is… “Nah not for me thanks but no thanks.” The sci-if horror spooky stuff was whatever, but some of the specific gore was just a bit too much for me. 🙃 Plenty of other episodes out there though!
I’m in the same boat here with @tracey.science. I’ve had this cold for a few more days compared to him, and I’m feeling somewhat better but I’m still super wiped out. Been sick for over a week now and I’m so done with it.

Very happy that as of yesterday the building construction project where our Space Shuttle restoration project, OV-001, will be displayed, has officially started! It starts not with a bang, but with a claiming of street parking where the construction firm’s temporary trailer offices will go.
I am BEGGING tall cis white gays to have even an ounce of situational awareness at drag shows. If I had a dollar for every jackass who pushed me out of my spot or elbowed me or danced into me, I would leave with more dollar bills than the queens.
S’alright though. I had a wonderful time earlier at a trans nerd meetup in SF. I’d been meaning to go for a while but I finally made it out there for the first time today. Met a lot of folks and got a teeensy bit too much sun! I needed that nap afterwards!

Got some late night cosplay in at #TrekLongIsland. I was a bit disappointed that the burlesque show and the cosplay masquerade were at the same time. I had to miss the burlesque because I had committed to the masquerade before the schedule came out. I’ll attempt to cosplay again tomorrow morning.
