I have been very busy recently! Over the last two week, I have spent 8-12 hours most days learning and working on repairing a water damaged bathroom - all 90% by myself. Still more water damage to repair around the house. I really want to get back to avatars, but it may be a while.

It appears to have been from a bad toilet flange connection.Replace most of the subfloor with pressure treated wood. Sadly, the plywood buckles as stack effect dried out the room. Sanding didn’t help and I ran into a tile crunch. It is still somewhat noticeable in the final product. Pulling staples out from the roll on flooring was so annoying. I learned a lot from these steps and will do a bit differently for other areas.Final product! Still need to caulk around the front of the toilet and touch up some paint. I haven’t painted the new trim at this time since it’s PVC and waterproof, though it’s surface isn’t very durable. I am still trying to figure out what to do for the hand towel holder. I would love more storage near the counter, but can’t find any good premade options.
