Enjoyed Kinda Funny's Top 100 Games of All Time list (I normally don't watch their stuff) but now it has me really craving the same kind of project from a crew with less basic/mainstream tastes. Wish I'd come away with more games to explore (Oh and also like any women being involved would be cool).

Reading over the minimalist jam page by @binarystar.games and I cannot emphasize enough how important this part was. Felt like a much needed wake up call.

I'm begging people to not create ranked game jams and not participate in them. The hurt they cause is so not worth the highlighting of the cream that's already risen to the top. I'm sick of seeing new (and existing) writers demoralized and disincentivized to create more stuff in the future.

Just beat Star Wars: Galactic Racer! Such a fun campaign and a structure for racing I hope we'll see a lot of games steal from in the near future. It says a lot that they managed to get me to really care about a Star Wars game (the second one this year, in fact) AND a racing game. Check it out!

Happy first anniversary of #OVER/UNDER! Here are all the various iterations of Denk "Freaky" Fontaine, my denizen who unexpectedly ascended to CHC hacker boss. I still think of (and miss) Denk, the Dream, and all its denizens quite regularly.

#OVER/UNDER is now OVER - and I'm teary-eyed and emotionally drained. The post-game decompression channels have opened... and I still can't RPing.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer absolutely rocks. Racing is one of the rare game types were adding roguelite elements raises the stakes considerably. I'm white knuckling these eliminator races especially! Don't wanna lose my cool build!

I bring a sort of "Hoosier sugar cream pie" energy to the Canadian Thanksgiving function.

In Lanterns, they either need to show him doing more stuff with the ring or give it a longer charge cus it seems like you can only get a 5 minute flight and a shield or two off a charge of that thing. That or like... just carry the lantern. Can you just use the lantern? Big necklace for lantern imo.

The ashcan edition of my new game is out. HONBASHO is a 1v1 skirmish game that simulates modern sumo wrestling. I made it to teach sumo with a game, more than make a sumo game. My hope is that after someone plays this game, they will have a basic understanding of sumo and can watch and enjoy it.
