We love the furry friends who come to visit us! 🐶 Here are just a few of our favourites from July that travelled from all around the world to explore our bookshop (and of course, the rest of Cambridge...) 😍

We were honoured to have bestselling author @karenstollznow.bsky.social back in our bookshop last week for the launch of her new book, 'Beyond Words! 🙌 She took time to sign copies of her books and speak to each of the guests, answering questions and discussing all the complexities of language. 📖

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the launch of Beyond Words at the Cambridge University Press Bookshop last night. It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces, and to share a reading and conversation about language. Thank you for making it such a memorable evening!

We had a very cute (and unexpected) customer in our bookshop on Monday morning! 🥰 A duckling had lost it's mum and wandered in from the streets of Cambridge. We were able to carefully catch it and keep it sheltered while we called local bird experts, who then took it to safety. 🦆

In this week's new books, 'Tempering Power' by Martin Krygier and 'The War against Law' by David Dyzenhaus, we're exploring the rule of law, what it's for and why it matters to all of us in a liberal democracy. 📚⚖️
