Of the Iranians, he says they are people that you "don't know whether or not they tell the truth". You’ll never guess who just said this. 🤦
As @roberthutton.co.uk may already have said: if only there'd been some clue that Peter Mandelsohn, sacked 3 times in his political career over a loan scandal, allegations of influencing a passport application & for prior revelations re Epstein, might have been open to even more egregious behaviour.
You just have to hand it to some orgs who are masters of their subject. @createstreets.bsky.social is one & a shedload of people across the planning sector should listen to them on densifying urban spaces by building beautiful. (Plus do use the @deltapoll.bsky.social omnibus like they did).
📊 Only 2% of British adults trust developers to improve places. But what if... a development made a street more attractive, not less? 🧵A critical friend review of Shoreditch Works & how we can build a better London for everyone.
Canadian pollsters look to have done very well last night, but the common theme continues: party of the Right, the Conservatives, look to be underscored by 1.5% on average across final polls.
Just putting it out there now @lottehargrave.bsky.social that Canada elections feature ideal conditions for a polling miss. Not saying there will be one, but close election with Conservatives in 2nd, ok approval rating for Con leader. Could be a classic of the genre with wrong winner!
#potus Donald #Trump has an 'approval' rating of -45 among the British public according to #deltapolluk latest weekly omnibus poll.
Looks like Trump is being noticed, I'll give that to him. But only four in five Brits can identify our own Prime Minister from his photo which, I dunno, doesn't seem ideal. #deltapollUK weekly #omnibus
The grift is in. Watch markets slide, buy the dip, make up a positive vibe that gets press pick-up, count your profits. Sell. Rinse, repeat.
INSANE market action right now. Market exploded higher on a headline attributed to Kevin Hassett. And now nobody can figure out where it came from and the markets are diving again. An 8% surge and then a 3.5% plunge in a matter of seconds
Enough of this financial whipsawing - someone just made an absolute killing and it sure as hell was not me.

Another brand new #steetscar for @createstreets.bsky.social consideration. This one is on Rupert Street, Soho, apparently temporary until January according to very sympathetic construction worker horrified by own work. Blamed council for impossible deadline rather than costs.
My first post here and it’s likely to be a theme. Today we have not one but two self-identified right wing pollsters using weaponised polling to reinforce their own priors. Polling should be independent & objective but I doubt it will continue to be so now the industry is being Americanised.
