Artists are really the backbone of social media, they’re often pulling double or triple duty as shitposters, image makers, and just cool people

Something something we look at art at such a small scale on our phone screens that we’re losing the ability to appreciate linework and detailing due to the “observe for a second, like, and scroll” method of art consumption facilitated by social media.

At the end of last year I worked for a couple months with Buck Design on KID COSMO, Netflix's game prequel to THE ELECTRIC STATE. I got to draw all of the figures for the key frames -- backgrounds by someone else. What a fun and unique exercise in narrative figure work + likenesses + style matching.

Key frame from KID COSMO, a boy shyly clutches a game console to his chest, hiding it from his sister who peers through his doorway at him as he sits on his bed.

Got myself a new laptop so after a whole year of hoarding stickers like a sick dragon I will proceed into making Shartputer 2.0 (laptop edition)

repost! i think they both know basic piltovan social dances to keep up appearances (they usually spend most functions muttering to themselves in a corner bc they refuse to leave their work at the lab <3)

The question is, as always, did Jin show up with his dance perfectly rehearsed because he’s terrified of Hoseok or because he’s enamored with Hoseok, and the answer is, as always, yes
