I would’ve celebrated 10 years in the US if I wasn’t forced to leave against my will by Kristi Noem’s lies. Still no news about Venezuela and Venezuelans alike who had TPS under the 2021 designation and the limbo is still ongoing. I would’ve been fine in America if it wasn’t for her insolence.

Well, time for you to drop buying any EA Games (including Sims 4 packs and Marketplace content) since the company is now owned by human rights abusers. Whether or not you’ll keep playing any EA titles you own pre-buyout is up to you now.

messing around with #Paralives and of course this is the second family i had to make #facade #trip #grace
Paralives may be the first game where I have truly seen myself represented
I wonder if the National TPS Alliance is also fighting for Venezuelans who were forced to leave the US last year to avoid deportation and are doing everything they can to give them the option to return to their old lives in the US, like in my case where I’ve been stuck in Venezuela since November.
So… I got Paralives. Now what? (The excitement wore off and I’m genuinely unsure how to proceed with the game now)
Project Zomboid’s Build 42 stable is releasing shortly today and I’m excited. Can’t wait to explore the map and survive in what appears to be a refreshed environment. (Or die; knowing the game, it just loves the concept of death and seeing the player die in the apocalypse regardless)
Another earthquake? In Kumamoto? A month after the twin earthquakes in Venezuela? What’s going on on the planet? Just like the latter, I hope the former get the help and support they need.
Ending TPS for Venezuelans last year is like uprooting an entire orchard because it spent years growing on new soil along with the farmers who worked hard on harvesting and selling its fruit, thanks to Kristi Noem. Now we’re seeing the same thing happen to Haitians. America is betraying immigrants.
Side eyeing anyone who watched the World Cup from start to finish because they cared more about watching men play a soccer tournament than boycotting it because the President of FIFA is an awful person.
Finally, the main airport at Venezuela; in Maiquetía, is reopening on August 15 from what I heard; 2 weeks from now. Better late than ever, though. But it should be a sign that the country is continuing to improve; something I’m still doubting as Venezuelan myself, but I’d love to be proven wrong.
It’s been a month since the devastating earthquakes struck Venezuela. Being there, nothing has returned to the way it was before it. The Caracas airport is still closed. 5,000 people have died and no efforts to reinstate TPS have been made. This tragedy persists in a country still at its worst. 😞
I finished my first mosaic! I call I “The Heart of Cygnus.” The star is Sadr, and the Crescent Nebula (C27) is on the lower right. 📸 ASI533MC 35x300s 💾 Siril w/RCAstro scripts 📍Green Bank, WV 🔭 CarbonStar 150 #astrophotography

This year’s World Cup felt so bland that it still worked on brainwashing you into caring about men playing a measly soccer game on TV rather than boycotting it because FIFA showing its ugly colors; no one cared, not even the lack of character that tournament had unlike the others which were fine.
Another day, another moment I feel trapped in my own country of Venezuela. The aftermath of the earthquake is still ongoing nearly a month after it happened. When will the airports reopen for me to temporarily leave? They’re still closed and they do contribute to that “trapped” feeling I have.
Thank god this World Cup is ending today. It’s been nothing but a waste of time for it to exist for me, and it lacks character unlike the other ones. I don’t care who wins, really. I’m looking forward for it to go away because I never really cared about it. Plus, fuck FIFA.
All these Project Zomboid playthroughs that I’m doing is making me crave an isometric life simulation game with an open world mechanic. I know The Sims 1 counts for the former, but it’s unable to handle the latter. If I was good at coding I would’ve tried to make one by now.
I received an email about Disney’s Jollywood Nights coming back, and I don’t know; it made me sad for some reason today. Maybe it’s because I was supposed to attend it last year, but I was forced out of the US before I could even go to the event. I don’t think I can go to Disney at this rate either.
I wonder when I’ll pick up where I left off with my Sims 2 neighborhood project as well as cc even though I need to re-teach myself on how to go hand in hand with blender and milkshake with the models I want to convert from GTA V to custom content.
I can’t wait for this World Cup to end. I’m so sick of it. The others were fine but this recent one is making me want to put an end to it even if I’m not watching it anyway; I’m so tired of it at this point.
So the World Health Organization can declare hantavirus over as an outbreak but can’t bring themselves to declare COVID over as a pandemic? Makes perfect sense (Sarcasm). Makes sense because they refer to cholera as an ongoing pandemic they are planning to end in 2030 anyway as a reason why.
Haven’t heard of Flipline Studios and the Papa Louie franchise in general for a long time. Makes me wonder how it’s going today.
See what happened to Venezuela, SCOTUS? I TOLD YOU that revoking our TPS (thanks to the lies Noem made about Venezuelans as a “justification” to take it away) was a BAD IDEA.
What about those who were on the us under TPS and were affected last year by having it revoked? I’m one of those people. We the Venezuelan people deserve more than ever in these tough times, both last November and into this year. We need a break. (Had to quote retweet because I couldn’t reply).
undocumented venezuelans should be granted tps.
Undoubtedly cruel. Just like the decision to strip TPS off of Venezuelans last year, sending them to a country that is now in a worse state than ever. We also followed every rule in the book and yet we paid the price by getting kicked out. It is absolutely unfair we’re seeing this act persist.
Today's TPS decision is so fucking cruel because Haitians and Syrians followed all the rules that they were supposed to follow and now they're all of a sudden here "illegally" because a bunch of racists said so. I'm feeling so much fury on behalf of the many Haitians I know.
I would’ve celebrated Father’s Day if my dad didn’t become a dipshit in the end. All those years of me knowing him, I was wrong about him when he betrayed me and my mom with what he did. When I become a father, I’ll take the day for myself, but for now, I’d rather pretend it doesn’t exist.
